About the Therapist
Stephanie is originally from Caguas, Puerto Rico and grew up in the military. She holds an MA in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy from the University of Central Florida. She earned a Doctorate of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership.
She is a nationally certified counselor, a Registered Marriage & Family Therapy Intern, as well as a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. Stephanie is certified in Prepare/Enrich and has also obtained Level 1 Gottman training.
She is best suited to dealing with couples therapy, pre-marital counseling, anxiety, depression, wellness counseling, and individual counseling. She enjoys working with engaged couples for pre-marital counseling, individuals undergoing relationship issues or surpassing a break-up, and with local college students. Her counseling approach is to have a comfortable conversation and listen to you. Finally, she has an existential theoretical orientation, helping find meaning in conjunction with therapy.
